Dr. Kim Anderson is an adult cardiologist and holds a position of Assistant Professor at the Halifax Infirmary Hospital-Dalhousie University. She did her medicine and cardiology training at Université de Montréal and then completed a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure, Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support at UHN-University of Toronto. She is currently an MSc candidate in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research at University of Toronto – ICES.

Her research focuses on sex differences in health care trajectory in heart failure patients. Using health administrative data, her work tries to better understand the differences in access to care between men and women from the beginning of their heart failure presentation.
