Dr. François Tournoux is a member of the Department of Cardiology at the CHUM, an assistant clinical professor at the Université de Montréal and a clinical researcher at the Doppler echocardiography laboratory, within the framework of the activities of the Research Center (CRCHUM). 

Dr. Tournoux is a graduate of the French universities of Paris 5 (MD) and Paris 7 (Ph.D.). He completed his clinical training at the Lariboisière Hospital and Bichat Hospital (Paris, France) and his research training at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston (United States).

He specializes in non-invasive cardiac imaging, heart failure and sports cardiology. These subspecialties are also his main areas of research.
